Hi,
I’m Ann! For over 30 years, I’ve lived, breathed, and studied horses—always searching for better ways to understand and connect with them. My journey has led me to challenge traditional ideas about horse training, shifting the focus away from dominance and control to trust and communication.
It’s time to rethink how we work with horses. They are not just big, strong animals that need to be managed—they are sensitive, intelligent partners who want to cooperate if we take the time to listen and explain things in a way that makes sense to them. Training should never be about forcing a horse to do something but about making them want to work with us.
I share practical, no-nonsense training methods—no gimmicks, no unnecessary tools—just clear, simple techniques that prioritize the horse’s well-being. Whether it’s groundwork, riding, injury prevention, rehabilitation, or everyday care, my approach is built on understanding, patience, and mutual respect.
With a Master’s degree in science and a background in pedagogy, I have a deep appreciation for both research and effective communication. But my greatest teachers have always been the horses themselves. Today, I work full-time sharing my knowledge about horse training, care, and welfare, helping others build better relationships with their horses.
If you’re ready to move beyond outdated training ideas and build a real partnership with your horse, you’re in the right place!
